Legislative Relations
The Public and Legislative Relations Office of the State Center Community College District is responsible for legislative and community advocacy with local, state and federal officials and staff. The District is committed to providing extensive information regarding its programs and services.
State Center Community College District currently serves nearly 53,000 students on its many campuses. Since its formation on July 1, 1964, the District has continued to offer students quality educational programs at an affordable cost.
The District serves a population area in excess of 1.7 million residents and is headquartered in downtown Fresno. The District operates four community colleges, Fresno City College, Reedley College, Clovis Community College, and Madera Community College. Also part of the District is the Madera Community College Center at Oakhurst and the Career & Technology Center in southwest Fresno. Classes are also offered at additional satellite campuses in Kerman, Selma, Sanger and Easton.
Executive Director, Jill Wagner, is responsible for all governmental relations advocacy for the District.
