How to Pay for Study Abroad

EECU Student Grant Program

The 2025 EECU Student Grant Program! EECU’s Student Grant Programs provide grants to help members pay for school-related expenses. The programs are open to members who are pursuing a post-high school education at a community college, university/college, vocational/technical school, or advanced professional training in the U.S.

The call for applications will open in October 2024.

Golden 1 Credit Union Scholarships

Golden 1 Credit Union believes in investing in California’s future leaders, and they are proud to do their part to help them achieve their educational goals. Through the Golden 1 Credit Union scholarship program , they provide student members financial support. Students receive awards based on academic achievement, community involvement, and extracurricular activities.

Applications will be accepted this fall/winter for scholarships awarded for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Frederick Douglass Global Fellowship

The Douglass/O'Connell Global Internship honors the legacy of the abolitionist and statesman with a fully funded summer study abroad program focused on leadership, activism, and cross-cultural understanding. Fellows for this prestigious award will be selected based on their academic achievement, communication skills, commitment to social justice, and demonstrated service to others.

CCID's Study Abroad Scholarship

In an effort to expand access to international experiences for community college students, CCID is offering student study abroad scholarships of $500 for participation in a global experience.

CCID Study Abroad Scholarships
