Step 5: Placement Test & Assessment
ASSESSMENT: Each student must go through an assessment process to determine his or her appropriate course placement in English and math. The assessment process is composed to reviewing multiple measures including placement test recommendations, high school transcripts, AP test scores, etc.
PLACEMENT TEST: The placement test will be offered on your high school campus as part of the Registration To Go program. The placement test will typically be composed 2-3 sections: reading, writing, and/or math. Students will typically follow the placement recommendations set by the college that proctors the placement test at your high school. All placement test recommendations will be recognized and utilized for course placement at any State Center Community College District location: Fresno City College, Reedley College, and/or Clovis Community College.
Students can access their test results on Self-Service. To login, students will need their username (lastname_studentID#) and their password (6 digit birth date until changed by student). After the student is logged in, they need to click on Test Summary under Academic Profile to access their test results.
